Mislina Mustaffa take a decision to make an experiment about 'homeless and nomadic' and she abandoned her own house to have a journey in her country with small backpack for nearly 2 years. She also abandoned her career to make this experiment. Other than that, she want to prove that life can become unbelievably simpler and lesser in needs. She learned how to survive even though she homeless and she does not have anything. She just use what's left. Finally, she had conclude in going through time, one must always permit oneself to tiredness and boredom. This series of experiment just tells you who you are.

TASK 10

1)      My biodata.
My name is Mohamad Farhan Izzad bin Abd. Rahman and I’m 19 years old. Most of my friend call me Farhan or some call me Izzad. I was born on 7th May 1995 in Kajang, Selangor. My mother gave birth of me at Hospital Kajang same with my sister also at that hospital.

My primary school life begun when I was 7 years old and I’m studied at Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan 3, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. After standard 6, I went to secondary to school, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Jalan Empat, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. After Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR), I’m went to Sekolah Menengah Sains Rembau, Negeri Sembilan when I was in form 4. Then after get the result of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), I’m continue my study to Kedah Matriculation College (KMC). My result during matriculation was just nice. Then, I have been offered to further my study in degree at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai, Johor Bahru. Now, I’m the first year student in Bachelor of Civil Engineering under Faculty of Civil Engineering (FCE).

TASK 9

1)      Give your opinion about how will you help to greener our nation?
In my opinion, I will help to greener our nation by enforce a new law related to enforcement such as when someone doing damage to environment, they will compounded with their false. Even they throwing a rubbish , they also will compounded and get a warning letter. I will act decisively in my way to enforce a law.
Other than that, how I will help to greener my nation by planting more trees. By planting trees, it will reduce a carbon dioxide emission. When going to work, try to have a car pooling and use a public transport. This can also reduce a carbon dioxide emission in atmosphere because excessive of carbon dioxide gas will lead to green house effect.

Last but not least, my effort to greener my nation is to propose an awareness campaign to attract people to do a 3R’s (recycle, reduce, reuse) and at the same time this campaign make a people love our earth and will realize to greener my nation.

TASK 8

1)      Suggest several ways of how to improve traffic and pedestrians safety in UTM.
There are several ways of how to improve traffic and pedestrians safety in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) such as making a zebra cross. With a present of zebra cross, pedestrians are easy to cross the road to other side.
Other than that, the management of university campus can also build a bumper at the long straight road to slow down a car, motorcycle or any vehicle that are using the road. This can also reduce the accident.
Furthermore, traffic light must be build especially at the road with four junctions. This suggestion will improve the traffic flow without traffic jam happen and at the same time pedestrian can cross the road without any worried.
Another way to improve traffic and pedestrians safety by provide a sidewalk for pedestrians. How sidewalk can improve safety? When pedestrians walk at sidewalk. They do not disturb a vehicle user on the main road. The pedestrians safety will safer.

Lastly, a management of university must enforced a new rule such an engine vehicle must have a speed limit when drive in campus area. A speed limit can be fixed to 35km/h only in campus area. I think this is a few ways to improve traffic and pedestrians safety in UTM.

TASK 7

1)      What has been the most difficult part of adjusting to university life? What are your favourite things about UTM?
The most difficult part of adjusting to university life for me is how to control our self from bad attitude. As example, as a university student, we have many free time because sometimes we only have 2 hour class a day but actually the remaining time that we have in that day we can use to do an assignment, study or anything else. But when the attitude is bad such as lazy and not have a self-discipline, the time will burn without have any work we have done. Other than that, the other difficult part in the learning process, this is because lecturer will not ask to do any exercise but we must take an initiative to do the tutorial as exercise for the subject we have learn.

My favourite things about UTM is the hostel is comfortable. Other than that, UTM also provide many facilities which make students more comfortable such as bus for outing on weekend and class with air cond.

TASK 6

1)      What will you be in 10 years? What career will you have? Will you travel? Will you married? Kids? Will you go to graduated school?

After 10 years, I hope I had finish my study and have started my job.  I also hope to get a good career as professional civil engineer at good company. After collect the amount of money to use for the wedding, I will find someone as my soulmate. I will marry her and love her forever. I want many children as long as I can. Sometimes, I will take them to travel in country and overseas. If I can I will travel with them around the world. Last but not least, I will go to my graduated school to see the condition of the school and give an advice to student.

TASK 5

1)      What is your favourite part about Malaysian culture? How would you describe Malaysia to someone who has never been here?
Malaysia is a multirational races country that consist malay, Chinese, indian and many more. In my point of view, Malaysia is unique because it have many culture such as traditional dance, food, dialect, celebration, traditional clothes and others. But, from those culture that I wrote, my favourite part about Malaysian culture is about food.
There are many type of food in Malaysia. Even though we are from different races, but we like the food also from other race such a simple example, ‘roti canai’ was Indian food, but in Malaysia, all races including Malay and Chinese also love this food. It same goes to other traditional food from other races.
Beside that, if I want to describe or promote about Malaysia to someone who has never been here, I will tell them about place to travel here in Malaysia. In Malaysia, we have many nice places to visit. We have a coast with good view, we have also a historical building and theme park that can attract people to go there.

In conclusion, I would describe Malaysia as agood place to tour because it have many place to visit and in Malaysia, we have a delicious food that need to taste. My favourite part about Malaysia also about their traditional food.
